Yoga, hiking, good food and relaxation are the pillars of our program. When the snow arrives, skiing and snowshoeing add to our growing winter program. We believe the heart of a healthy lifestyle requires discipline and it is no secret this is not easy. We have created an environment where you can focus on your self while you embrace these elements of health.
Yoga Find Balance
Your sunrise yoga class will be the start of each day. As you stretch out tired muscle and define others the benefits of the class will be encouraging physically and mentally. If you are new to yoga our instructor will help you understand the poses and uncover the benefits some of which include: increased flexibility, strength, vitality, endurance and general wellbeing. If you are a seasoned yoga practitioner we encourage you to reach new depths as you practice several days consecutively.

Hike Find Strength
Guided daily hikes will find you exploring a wide variety of terrain and sights. As you explore the mountain peaks, deep shaded valleys, lake, alpine meadows, rivers and streams of Vancouver Island. Along the way you will discover the numerous health benefits of being active outdoors. It will be challenging at times and it will be worth it.

Ski Find ChallengeDownhill skiing, backcountry & heli-access skiing invite you to challenge yourself in our unique snowy mountain environment. We benefit from accessibility to Mt Washington's facilities, whilst enjoying the peace, privacy and wild setting of our lodge on Forbidden Plateau. Snowshoe Find AdventureSnowshoeing is an awesome way to explore the winter wonderland of Vancouver Island. Experience wild backcountry, stunning winter views and wildlife, good company and trails to suit your fitness level with our experienced guides - right from the back door of the Coastal Trek Lodge. A roaring open fire and hot tub awaits your return to the lodge.

Your meals during your retreat will be prepared with care and consideration for the day’s activity and your own personal goals. Quality whole foods will make the difference to your body’s ability to thrive as you reach new levels of fitness. The Coastal Trek Kitchen will become a place of inspiration as you spend time preparing a variety of recipes during your stay.

Relax Find Peace
Your time away from your day-to-day responsibilities is precious. We invite you to embrace the quiet and simplicity of the lodge and its surroundings. This may include reading by the fire, soaking in the hot tub, stretching in the yoga studio, receiving a well deserved massage or getting a proper nights rest. You will benefit by taking dedicated time for your self and for your health.

Optional Activities
Optional activities available in our area also include: salmon fishing, ocean kayaking, marine tours, visits to local farms and wineries. These options are an additional fee and require advanced organization so just let us know and we would be happy to include these things into your package.
